The Threshold alliance if looking for serious PvP Pilots for 0.0 and Low Sec Operations.
We currently have an operational system of rewards for kills as well as recompensation for ships lost in fleet ops.
Our system actually takes into account the potential Skill point value of a kill by using the averages calculated in the Quarterly Economic Newsletter released by CCP.
The QEN stated that the average player in EVE has 8.7 Million SP and is on Average 7 Months old. Since we are in low sec and 0.0, and for the sake of convenience we use 10 Months and 10 Million SP as our base factors.
That works out to 33333 SP per day.
We round this figure up for the sake of convenience to 35000 SP and that the number of days in a month are 30.
Given that a new pilot automatically starts with 800000 SP, a 3 day pilot would have on average 800000 + (35000 x 3)) = 905000 SP.
We use Combat Points to score our pilots, with One Combat Point being worth 100000 SP. Hence a 3 day old pilot is worth 905000 / 100000 = 9.5 Combat Points.
We also award points as per the value of the ship destroyed, with 100,000 ISK being worth One Combat Point.
Pilots who gain Combat points can use these points for either cash rewards or preserve them and gain higher grades, which allow them to purchase Ships from the alliance at increasing and substantial discounts - upto 40%. ( All ships purchased from the alliance are always at Cost by default - see below)
The above is a basic outline of the system, we also provide other added benefits to pilots who would like to PVP, The Threshold Alliance will support you in this endeavor.
We reimburse the loss of ships at the premium insurance level for all our members, and will supply them with new ships at the cost price of materials.
We also currently reimburse pilots for the loss of T2 ships and modules at 50% of the Cost, provided the ship was lost in a fleet op.
We currently already have two FCs running Fleet Ops and we are looking for more experienced pilots who are willing to take charge of the ops for other time zones.
We may be a small outfit, but we are enthusiastic about PVP and hope to make our mark in due course. Pilots and Corporations looking for an opportunity in Low-sec with a friendly and helpful bunch of pilots will not be disappointed.
